  1. Nice portfolios you have there ACI. You have a variety of solid companies that should continue to pay you dividends for years to come! Keep adding and re-investing those dividends.

Best wishes and continued success on your personal journey! AFFJ

    1. Hi AFFJ,

Thanks for the best wishes! I hope to continue adding fresh capital and re-investing the dividends to let the power of compounding take its effect.

Thanks! I'm hoping if I continue to save and invest in income producing assets, I will be able to reach my retirement goal.

  3. Nice portfolio! We have a lot of holdings in common. Why so much Microsoft stock? Do you work for Microsoft? MSFT is 23% of your portfolio. As much as I also like MSFT, that seems dangerous.

    1. Hi JTF,

Thanks! I'm glad to know that we have a lot of holdings in common. It's always good to know another shareholder that sees value in the same companies. The reason I own so much Microsoft ("MSFT") stock is because my parents purchased some shares of MSFT for me when I was young, and over the many years, MSFT had several stock splits, which increased my number of shares quickly. I then made another separate purchase on my own years later (this was before I learned about diversification and dividend growth investing). At that time, I just bought more of MSFT because it was doing so well. Now, I just hold onto it since it's still doing well for me. You are right in that it's dangerous; that is why I am holding and no longer adding to that position and instead am initiating new positions or accumulating more shares in smaller positions I own.
