Bought: PG, KMB

I purchased the following stocks on 1/30/2015:
  • 15 shares of The Procter & Gamble Company (PG) at $84.4999 per share.
  • 10 shares of Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB) at $108.8500 per share.
The Procter & Gamble Company manufactures and sells branded consumer packaged goods.  Some of their well-known brands include Head & Shoulders, Olay, Pantene, Braun, Fusion, Gillette, Mach3, Crest, Oral-B, Vicks, Ariel, Dawn, Downy, Duracell, Febreze, Gain, Tide, Always, Bounty, Charmin, and Pampers.

Kimberly-Clark Corporation manufactures and markets personal care, consumer tissue, and health care products worldwide.  Some of their well-known brands include Huggies, Pull-Ups, Little Swimmers, Kotex, Depend, Kleenex, and Scott.

I believe these are both solid companies that every dividend growth investor should own since they sell products that people need and use every day.  I'm not an investment professional, but my philosophy when purchasing stocks has always been to purchase companies that I understand the business of and has a large economic moat with strong competitive advantages.
